About this opportunity
Exciting opportunity for a Quality Practitioner to join our Transport Platform and be part of a multi skilled feature team, collaborating to ensure quality & customer requirements are met when developing products. You'll define the test coverage and scope based on acceptance criteria to undertake robust testing (Automation & Exploratory), and mentor/coach other colleagues on LBG Quality best QP.
What you'll do
Software Testing - use knowledge to apply the principles and practice of Software testing, including the ability to analyse applications and change requirements to assure quality is proven and recorded, including Functional and Non-Functional Testing, undertaking robust testing, developing test script. Easy to moderate scenarios. Manage bugs within the team & bugs which have dependencies across the lab
Agile Testing - Create test scenarios based on Stories & Acceptance Criteria, managing bugs within the feature team & bugs which have dependencies across the lab
Create & Execute test cases using the defined LBG test management system and able to create simple reporting from templates (e.g. EOTR)
Create & perform different types of simple Non-Functional testing as part of product development based on Non-Functional Requirements
Understands test environment usage within the team, using this knowledge to ensure testing is completed accuratelt by defining & procuring test environment usage within the Feature Team
Create of accurately request test data, including the use of reference data
What you'll need
Solid programming skills in a language of your choice.
Strong hands-on experience with a modern Test Automation tool/ framework utilised in a automation-first approach.
Experience of working within an Agile Feature team operating practices that are appropriate in a scaled organisation.
Understanding of Cloud environments, application architecture types and test considerations in context.
Some experience of working with testing tools orchestrated by DevOps technology, to help support a continued drive to CI/CD Pipelines.
Ability to undertake high-quality test analysis and production of value-add testing collateral.
