Salary: £27,401 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.

Location: Manchester (The role will be based in Manchester; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and well organised individual with strong administrative, interpersonal and communication skills.

Your role will involve providing full administrative and PA duties to our local director and other senior staff in our North West team, you will co-ordinate internal and external meetings, minute-taking and collate and prepare information, there will be a significant element of complex diary management and travel arrangements. In addition, you will both devise and implement a range administrative support systems for the Director and wider team. You will also support in data management and research and contribute to the operational delivery of internal grant management processes across the north area.

You will be the first point of contact for general external and internal enquiries and will need to have strong and confident verbal and written communication skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has prior experience in a PA role and can juggle multiple priorities and exercise effective judgement when managing conflicting tasks. You will need to have strong IT skills including commonly used office software. A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, and you will need to be confident and experienced in learning and working with bespoke packages. Experience of working in the public sector and /or with Local Authorities is desirable.
