About The Role
Reporting to Head of Finance, the Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the Commercial Finance and Management Accounting across the US Beauty Retail business. This role offers the opportunity to drive the business forward through working closely across different departments whilst providing insightful information and appraising commercial decision with key stakeholders.

About The Role
Reporting to Head of Finance, the Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the Commercial Finance and Management Accounting across the US Beauty Retail business. This role offers the opportunity to drive the business forward through working closely across different departments whilst providing insightful information and appraising commercial decision with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Finance Business Partner with Trade, Buying, Marketing & Merchandising senior leaders to develop and support site trade plans to optimise brand profitability and deliver sales expectations
- Pro-actively deliver and manage robust models to support the wider teams and understand key drivers
- Weekly forecasting and rolling budget processes, analysing variances and identifying areas to improve.
- Balance sheet ownership, including maintaining financial control of accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Produce and deliver insightful month-end management accounts pack to Senior Leaders
- Continuous improvement of processes.
- A confident mindset, comfortable in dealing with a wide range of non-financial key stakeholders
- An aspiring leader, who thrives on being able to drive and work with an ambitious team to achieve defined profit initiatives
- Identify and deliver future profit improvement initiatives
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Analytical skills, with the ability to effectively summarise and interpret data to wide range of stakeholders (SQL desirable)
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities (Retail/ E-comm desirable)
- Ambitious and keen to add instant value across reporting
- Proven record of delivering against targets
- Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management with the ability to influence
- Team work to achieve division strategy and goals
- Strong proficiency with Excel - (required)
- Experience of working with accounting software (Sage desirable)
