Policy, Compliance and Documentation

  • Support the implementation and consistent use of core HR policies and templates
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure document control across contracts, letters, and templates
  • Communicate policy changes and updates to employees and management effectively.
  • Monitor and interpret global labour laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to employee relations and provide proactive solutions.

Training and Development:

  • Support the People Business Partner with designing and delivering toolkits for managers and employees on employee relations best practices, company policies, and legal compliance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Escalate and support with tracking employee relations metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with preparation of reports relating to employee relations activities and outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with People business partners, legal teams, and management to ensure a consistent approach to employee relations across all locations.
  • Foster a positive relationship with employees by being approachable and maintaining open lines of communication.

To perform this role well, we require:

  • Experience in employee relations or HR advisory roles, (in a global context is desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with senior leaders, with confidence to challenge where necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations
  • High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to independently manage a high volume caseload
  • Ability to balance legal compliance with commercial considerations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • A highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic setting
  • CIPD level 5 (desirable, or willing to work towards)
