In your new role, you’ll develop and deliver accurate, timely, and meaningful performance analysis and MI to support business decision making. From that data, you’ll help us identify existing and emerging fraud trends, and work with our stakeholders to enhance the bank’s fraud prevention capabilities. You’ll also work with closely with Audit functions and Finance to support performance discussions and accountancy treatment.
You’ll Also
To excel in your new role, you’ll need significant experience in advanced data mining techniques, including broad expertise in extraction, transformation and data visualisation. Additionally, you’ll bring strong working knowledge of coding environments, paired with an advanced understanding of data visualisation tools.
You’ll also be highly analytical and collaborative, with effective stakeholder relationship management skills to work with various stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll Also Need
- Become one of the bank’s fraud prevention specialists using your experience as a data manager
- We’ll look to you to support the effective management of service performance and fraud loss reduction to identify, asses, mitigate, and report on fraud risk and operational services

- This role is available either full time or as a job share opportunity which means you and another colleague will share the duties of one full time job, with each of you working part time hours on a pro rata basis

You’ll Also
- Develop and oversee the creation of relevant and critical reports, dashboards and visualisations for a wide range of stakeholders
- Generate insight packs on emerging fraud prevention trends using immersive story-telling techniques to drive next best actions
- Work closely with our data engineering teams to design robust data pipelines from a wide variety of data sources to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Track key business metrics, identifying trends and providing input and commentary to Executive forums
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across the bank and beyond to ensure best practises, interdependencies are understood and reporting needs are met
- Serve as a mentor to the more junior members of the team, coaching them on both technical and non-technical areas of the role
- Support in process optimisation by using data analytics to help improve existing processes.

You’ll Also Need
- Effective experience of using and interpreting MI
- Advanced Microsoft applications capability
- The ability to synthesise large amounts of information from various sources to present options to be considered for decisioning
- Advanced knowledge of analytics tooling such as Snowflake, SQL and visual analytics tools such as Tableau
- A fundamental understanding of operational team structures, prevention systems, data architecture and customer journeys
