About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Lighting Maintenance Technician, this would be a fantastic opportunity for individuals with an interest in Film & TV, who would like to see and feel the impact of their work in a hands-on, highly operational, service-focused business.
Responsible for delivering best practice / company defined electrical and electronic engineering standards.
Supporting the Maintenance team, you will ensure safety and compliance in carrying out repairs to electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with manufacturers specifications and to current regulations.
You will be repairing, maintaining and PAT testing film and TV lighting equipment:
- High frequency electronic ballasts.
- LED, tungsten and HMI lighting fixtures up to 24kW.
- Power supplies.
- Dimmers.
- Lighting controllers.
- Mains distribution equipment up to 400A.
- Cables.
- You will work as part of a team though, there may be a requirement for you to visit a site or attend a training course by yourself or with a colleague and this may require an overnight stay.
- Ensuring compliance with specifications are delivered including, documentation, support, or testing activities.
- Carry out works to the highest standard.

To succeed in this roleyou will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
Essential qualifications and experience are:
- BTEC Diploma / Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- City & Guilds in Electronic Servicing
- Experience in electronic fault finding to component level.
- Experience using test equipment;
- Digital multimeter.
- Oscilloscope.
