“Curious about how everyday products stay safe, legal, and shoppable? This is your behind-the-scenes pass to a career in quality, sustainability, and product compliance”

THE COMPANY

A fast-growing homeware and consumer goods business known for developing and delivering a wide range of home, kitchen, and lifestyle products. The company operates a portfolio of successful brands and sells primarily through online channels, both in the UK and internationally. Their city-centre head office is easily accessible by public transport. They’ve created a new role for a Quality Assistant to support the team and help ensure products remain compliant and ready for market.

THE ROLE

With support and training available if needed, you’ll play a key role in keeping products compliant and ready for sale, working across UK, EU, and global standards relating to sustainability, product safety, and packaging.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Collecting, checking, and maintaining key compliance documents

  • Keeping online listings on platforms like Amazon and TikTok Shop live by submitting accurate compliance documentation

  • Checking products to ensure product quality and labelling accuracy

  • Communicating with suppliers in the UK, EU and Far East

  • Working with wider teams in Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Ecommerce and Product Design

  • Supporting the wider QA function with general admin

  • Staying up to date with updates to product compliance guidelines

ABOUT YOU

This role would suit someone who has an interest in product safety, environmental sustainability, and a curiosity for ‘how things work’ and how consumer goods get to market. You’ll be organised, have good attention to detail, and be keen to learn.

THE REWARD

This role will give you good exposure to a wide variety of compliance areas. You’ll work with a supportive and knowledgeable team that’s big on support and development. On-the-job training is provided if needed, and there’s real scope for growth. You’ll work in a modern office alongside Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Ecommerce and Product Design teams. Benefits include an annual bonus, monthly recognition rewards, company events, staff discount and more. This is a hybrid working role (3 days city centre head office / 2 days home).
