Join the Emtec Facility Services projects team and make a real impact on a prestigious contract, delivering multiple building fabric and hard service remedial work projects. We are seeking dynamic individuals based in Northwest England who can bring their facilities management expertise and passion for excellence to our team.

This role will be based from home visiting sites on a regular basis.

The Role

This is a varied and exciting role where you will take projects from inception, through financing, construction to practical completion, ensuring excellence and efficiency at every stage.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee Health and Safety on site
  • Manage site mobilisation working to CDM2015 regulations.
  • Manage main contractors, sub-contractors and regional Project Supervisors
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop Project scope and cost control measures.
  • Manage all client SLAs within project framework agreements
  • Coordinate with the supply chain to confirm construction arrangements and identify resource needs.
  • Deliver initial inductions and inspect site set ups before work gets started.
  • Attend Site meetings, participate in discussions and report on project status.
  • Conduct final inspections, identify snagging and arrange remedial work to meet client expectations.
  • Support the projects team in pricing individual projects and work packages.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek motivated individuals with a strong background in building fabric, construction or M&E trade, who thrive in a team oriented, customer focused environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous management experience on live construction sites
  • Experience dealing with main contractors, principal designers, cost consultants, quantity surveyors and health & safety consultants.
  • Technical knowledge in Building fabric or mechanical and electrical background within FM.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience managing sub-contractors and site-based teams.
  • Experience collating, producing, and managing Construction phase information
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent decision maker with good problem-solving skills
  • Hold a valid SMSTS qualification

It Would Be Great If You Have

  • IOSH Managing Safely certification
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate
  • Experience producing construction phase plans, O&M manuals, programmes of work.
  • Knowledge of project framework agreements.
  • Valid CSCS card.
