About the Role We are looking for Care Assistants in the Didsbury, Chorlton, and Urmston areas. If you live in M14, M16, M19, M20, M21, M32, or M41 areas we welcome you to apply
We are looking to work alongside your current sponsor for up to 20 hours per week. Should you prove to be successful in working alongside a diverse range of clients it may be possible to move your sponsorship to Home Instead after a 3 month probationary period
We welcome people who share our values, whether you have previous Care Assistant experience or not; we provide all the training you need to be a confident and skilled Care Professional
Due to the location of our clients, you will need a Full UK Driving License and a reliable vehicle
£13.20/£14.20 increasing to £13.70/£14.70 after 3 months (weekdays/weekends)
Ongoing paid training
Paid DBS
Paid mileage & wait time
Double pay on Bank Holidays
Sufficient travel time in-between clients
Employee Support Programme
Free Care certificate
Free City and Guild dementia course

Responsibilities Companionship, everything from a chat over a cup of tea to playing a game of scrabble
Accompaniment, to appointments or a spot of shopping
Meal preparation, a sandwich, or a home-cooked meal
Light housekeeping, a run around with the vacuum cleaner or a spot of dusting
Personal Care, because it’s important to us all
Being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same. With minimum 1-hour care visits, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care

Requirements Experience and qualifications in care are an advantage; however, they are not required as we provide full training
