Job Title: Credit Analyst Location: Manchester, UKEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a meticulous and experienced Credit Analyst to join our compliance and risk assessment team. In this role, you will be pivotal in evaluating the compliance of financing arrangements related to affordability claims and financial misconduct cases. Your expertise will ensure that all financial approvals adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.

Financial Assessment: Analyse clients' financial data, including income, expenditures, and credit histories, to determine the appropriateness of financing approvals. Compliance Verification: Ensure that all financing decisions comply with relevant financial regulations and internal compliance policies. Risk Analysis: Identify and assess potential risks associated with financing approvals, particularly in cases involving affordability disputes and financial misconduct.

Documentation Review: Examine and verify the accuracy and completeness of financial documents submitted by clients. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for financing decisions. Collaboration: Work closely with legal and compliance teams to provide insights and support in ongoing investigations and case preparations.

Qualifications and ExperienceEducational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit analysis, financial compliance, or a related area. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations, particularly those related to consumer credit and financial misconduct.

Analytical Skills: Proficient in financial analysis and risk assessment methodologies. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Preferred QualificationsCertifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Credit Analyst (CCA) or Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) are advantageous. Legal Acumen: Familiarity with legal processes related to financial disputes and misconduct cases. What
