Job title: Lead EC&I EngineerLocation: Warrington -- HybridJob type: PermanentOur Client an Engineering company are seeking an Lead EC&I Engineer (Electrical Controls and Instrumentation) for a permanent position in Warrington location. This role is placed within Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Petrochemicals or highly regulated industry. RoleIn this role you will be the Lead EC&I Engineer for one project / portfolio of projects and will be responsible to manage and complete the EC&I engineering and design, which includes change control and consistency of the EC&I engineering and design with the other disciplines.

ResponsibilitiesAs an Lead Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Engineer you will be responsible for the Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) design within engineering, EPCM or EPC projects and you will act as the technical authority for the EC&I discipline. Project will predominantly reside in UK, but you will be expected to carry out projects for Europe & UK and these projects will range across the full lifecycle from concept to commissioning, in both green and brownfield applications. You shall be able to lead projects and coordinate all EC&I engineering and design, with the other disciplines, Mechanical, Civil and Structural, Process and Automation.

You will carry out, check and approve Engineering and Design estimates. QualificationPrevious experience as Lead Engineer EC&I, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company, in one of the sectors : (Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals and Petrochemicals). Deep knowledge of EC&I engineering and design, but you also have a sound knowledge of the other disciplines (Automation, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping and Process)Experience of acting as a technical authority or line manager for an engineering organisationMEng / BEng in EC&I EngineeringChartered or Incorporated Engineer (Preferred), TUV CertificationStrong understanding of the main standards in relation your discipline including 7671, 7430, 61508, 61511, ATEX, DSEAR, LV and HVExperienced with the main EC&I design packages including AMTECH, AutoCAD, AutoCAD electrical, Revit, Dialux and all Microsoft office packages.
