We are looking for someone who is commercially astute to lead the finance function across our clients portfolio of business a couple of UK property based companies and one in Dubai.
This role is a key appointment aligned with our ongoing growth strategy and reports directly to the Managing Director. You will play a critical role in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the group.
Your Teams Are
You will oversee a committed finance team based in our Manchester office, including an Assistant Management Accountant and an Accounts Assistant. The role also involves close collaboration with external accountants supporting our UAE operations.
Your Day To Day Responsibilities Will Be
Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed commentary and variance analysis.
Produce and file statutory accounts for all UK group companies and the UAE entity.
Lead cashflow forecasting and treasury management to maintain financial stability.
Maintain and enhance internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Accurately input and reconcile financial data using Sage Line 50 and Xero.
Ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations, including payroll submissions.
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as required.
Partner directly with UAE accountants to support financial compliance and local reporting.
Manage the Assistant Management Accountant and Accounts Assistant.
What will you bring to the role?
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar Management Accountant role, ideally within a multi-entity environment.
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Proficient in Sage Line 50, Xero, and Sage Payroll.
Familiarity with reporting platforms such as Power BI is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Companies House filing and UK financial compliance.
Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commercial awareness.
UAE Accounting Experience Is Not Requiredtraining Will Be Provided.
The role is based at our clients Headquarters in Didsbury and is Monday to Friday office based working 8.45am to 5.30pm.
What do you get in return?
£50,000 £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Up to 10% annual performance-related bonus.
