We are a growing charity supporting European nationals in the Greater Manchester area, and looking to expand our Board of Trustees. We are especially keen for people with financial, Social Enterprise, HR skills and drive to make a difference.
What difference will you make?
As a Trustee you will make a direct difference to the growth of Europia, supporting the development of strategic and business plans whilst ensuring there is confidence in the governance of the charity. You will support the CEO by offering guidance, reassurance and being a "critical friend" in planning the next steps for the charity Your impact as a Trustee will ensure the charity remains sustainable for the longer term which ultimately has a positive impact on the people it supports.
What are we looking for?
Working with charitable organisations developing strategy; project management; fundraising and grants management; human resources; financial management; mental health and wellbeing, including physical health leadership development experience of supporting and working with European migrants

We are interested in potential Trustees who can bring experience across of range of areas. financial background developing strategy; project management; fundraising and grants management; human resources; financial management; mental health and wellbeing, including physical health leadership development social Enterprise experience of supporting and working with European migrant Europia is a community development organisation and its mission statement is to “Support, Educate, Empower and Represent Eastern and Central Europeans across Greater Manchester to prosper in their communities”. We need Trustees to help us Set and maintain the vision and values of Europia Develop direction, strategy and planning and ensure there is suitable structure and resources in place Approve policies and procedures to govern organisational activity Establish and maintain systems for reporting and monitoring Manage risk and ensure compliance and accountability with the governing document, external regulators and the law, such as upholding charity law and company law requirements. Ensure that the finance affairs of the organisation are conducted properly and are accurately reported. Are you able to offer approximately half a day a month to share your knowledge, skills and experience as Europia grows and develops, expanding its services and range of support?
