Our Opportunity

Are you an experienced and forward-thinking Structural or Senior Structural Engineer, looking to take the next step in your career?

Do you want to enhance your knowledge and skillset alongside a supportive team of like-minded talented Engineers?

Pick Everards thriving Structural Engineering team in are expanding and looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer, who will have the opportunity to work on exciting new venturesManchester and get to undertake site survey work.

There will be a wide, varied workload and the role will focus on the design and management of a diverse range of projects including health, education, commercial, custodial and residential. Take a look at some of our projects here: Discover our projects Pick Everard

You will take on and lead responsibility for delivery of projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality, on time, and to budget.

You will also have opportunities to achieve (if not already) chartered status, with mentors for both IStructE and ICE and access to regular workshops and seminars tailored to signing off the core objectives as part of the chartership process.

About You

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional designs and be driven to succeed on a diverse range of projects.

Our Ideal Senior Structural Engineer Must Have

  • xperience in a similar roleStructural design ein steel, concrete, timber & masonry
  • Structural surveying experience
  • Good verbal communication able to discuss work, coach and supervise employeesliaise with clients and members of the design team,
  • Ability to use various computer software programmes relevant to role (Tekla, Tedds, SCIA, AutoCAD)
  • Able to carry out site inspections

It Would Be Nice For You To Have

  • Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
  • Understanding of forms of appointment and construction contracts
  • writingStrong reportand presentation skills
  • High level broad-based technical appreciation
