As they continue to secure major frameworks and flagship schemes, they are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent PAYE basis to strengthen their commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:
- As a Quantity Surveyor, your duties will include:
- Preparing and agreeing interim applications for payment
- Managing and settling final accounts
- Identifying and issuing notices for compensation events and variations
- Drafting and issuing contractual correspondence
- Supporting preparation and negotiation of extensions of time
- Assisting with claims and dispute resolution including adjudication and mediation
- Subcontractor procurement and account management
- Preparing cost and value reconciliations and outturn financial reports
- Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff
- Engaging in ongoing CPD and pursuing chartered status (RICS or ICES)
About You:
To be successful in this role as a Quantity Surveyor, you will need:
- 4–5 years’ post-graduate experience within infrastructure, ideally for a Tier 1 or large Tier 2 contractor
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Proven experience in change management and cost/value reporting
- Commercial management of subcontractor accounts and supply chain
- Understanding of formal claims processes (adjudication/mediation)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills
- A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally (up to 2 nights per week)
