What you'll do:
As an RTR Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead the RTR reconciliations team towards achieving operational excellence. You will ensure the accurate and timely production of financial statements while driving automation and efficiency. Your role will involve active involvement with testing ERP regular releases and other system developments. You will also play a crucial part in embedding a digital mindset within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborating with other managers across Finance Operations will be key to resolving discrepancies and identifying errors.
- Lead, manage, and develop the RTR reconciliations team to deliver best practice core accounting processes and governance.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely production of balance sheet, revenue, and cost account reconciliations.
- Drive the use of ARCS (Oracle Cloud EPM Account Reconciliation), centralising reconciliation policies and procedures.
- Support audit activities by collaborating with external auditors.
- Work collaboratively with other managers in RTR and across Finance Operations to resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee/support the training and professional development of team members.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this RTR Manager role brings several years of experience as a qualified accountant or a very experienced QBE with significant people and process management experience. Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle Fusion / ARCS is essential. Previous experience managing an RTR team using automated reconciliation software is highly desirable. Strong communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable with uncertainty and change, supportive of digital transformation.
- Qualified accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or very experienced QBE with significant people and process management experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Oracle Fusion / ARCS).
- Previous experience of managing an RTR team using automated reconciliation software.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with uncertainty and change, supportive of digital transformation.
