DCS Technology in partnership with our client who are a data consultancy are searching for an Senior Tax Manager to join their growing team in Manchester.

Overview:

As Senior Tax Manager you will be responsible for assisting and advising to a variety of clients on tax and financial services.

What will you do?

• Lead and manage all direct and indirect tax activities, including corporate tax, VAT, and international tax matters.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing deadlines.
• Provide strategic tax planning and risk management advice to senior leadership.
• Liaise with HMRC and external advisers as needed.
• Oversee and mentor junior tax team members.
• Support M&A activity, restructures, and other strategic projects from a tax perspective.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the business.
• Prepare and review tax disclosures for statutory accounts and support external audit processes.

What will you bring?

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a senior tax role, ideally within a large corporate or professional services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation (international experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
