As an Senior AWS Engineer, you will be a critical escalation point within the support team.

Your primary responsibility will be investigating and resolving support cases escalated by the service desk team, ensuring issues are managed and resolved effectively and efficiently.

As Senior AWS Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Take ownership of complex AWS incidents, changes, service requests, and problem records, driving them to resolution.
• Serve as a technical escalation point within the team.
• Achieve and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as defined by the Support Team Manager.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Service Delivery teams to provide exceptional Client support.
• Partner with the Cloud Operations team to handle high-priority requests during out-of-hours coverage via an On-Call rota.
  
  
  

We'd love you to have

• Experience working on Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Beneficial AWS certifications
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform & CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in an enterprise environment (CKA certification is a plus).
• Experience managing enterprise database systems, including SQL and MySQL.
• A solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
