Job Opportunity: Roofer – Reactive Repairs Team (Social Housing)Location: Various Sites (Mobile Role)

Hours:• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm• Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pmOvertime: Available (subject to supervisor approval)

About the RoleEQUANS is seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our Reactive Repairs Team. This mobile role involves working across a variety of occupied social housing properties, delivering high-quality repairs while maintaining a professional and courteous approach with tenants and residents.

Key Responsibilities• Perform repairs on flat and pitched roofing systems, including slate, tile, and felt• Work independently or as part of a small team depending on job requirements• Receive and manage work orders electronically via a mobile device• Represent EQUANS professionally within residents’ homes

Requirements• Level 2 qualification in Roofing (or equivalent)• Valid Basic DBS Check (must be provided)• Proven experience with a variety of roofing systems• Strong communication and customer service skills• Must provide own hand tools (note: 240v tools are not permitted)• Ability to work effectively in a mobile role with flexibility and reliability
