Architecture Services is a department comprising three technical disciplines: Hybrid Platforms, NetCon & Cyber, and Workspace.
This role is within the Hybrid Platforms discipline, which focuses on HCI, on-premise datacentre, backup, and cloud-based datacentre solutions across various vendors and technologies.

As an HPE Architect, you will be a key member of Architecture Services, translating clients' business requirements into innovative, thoughtful, and well-designed solutions, either on-premise or in a hybrid-cloud setup.
This role requires you to demonstrate the skills of a subject matter expert, constantly striving to excel in the latest HPE technologies and design methodologies. A core part of the role is showcasing knowledge and understanding across the entire HPE Datacentre portfolio, including compute, storage, HCI, and consumption services.

As HPE Architect, you'll be responsible for:
- Understanding, scoping, and documenting customers' business and technical requirements.
- Producing designs, configurations, and contributing to solution proposals.
- Underwriting and acting as the technical design authority for solution designs and proposals within your discipline.
- Collaborating with other members of Architecture Services on multi-technology requirements.
- Presenting complex information clearly, persuasively, and elegantly through presentations and whiteboarding.
- Maintaining an accurate and timely updated pipeline and record of work completed through CRM systems.
- Demonstrate experience of technical presales and relevant datacentre technologies in HPE, other related technologies is a bonus such as Dell, NetApp, Pure.
- Extensive knowledge of HPE tooling including sizers and configurators.
- Experience conducting customer meetings, whiteboarding and documenting solutions.
- A passion for technology and for making technology work for businesses.
- Excellent communications skills, particularly with customers.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality of output.
