We have a brand-new opportunity for an Associate or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our MEP division based in our Manchester office.
It's an exciting time to join our MEP team! We have a proven track record working within the North of England, with offices in Leeds, Manchester and more recently Scotland. Working collaboratively with our North division, you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team who love what they do. Our team have a wealth of experience and will offer support, development opportunities and expert advice.
Your Role Will Include
Our MEP team are specialists in energy, sustainability, and engineering design. We bring buildings to life and create award winning, high-performance environments that enhance the built environment – working across all sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage and residential.

Your Role Will Include
- Be a pro-active member of the MEP leadership team, and oversee the day to day running of the electrical disciplines, overseeing multidisciplinary projects across a number of building sectors.
- Maintain and develop external relationships with clients and take responsibility for the commercial performance of projects including negotiating additional fees and facilitating new & continued work.
- Act as a role model within the MEP team, ensuring projects are delivered to a ‘right-first-time’ approach, ensuring appropriate quality management procedures are in place and are adhered to.

To Succeed In This Role, You’ll Need
- Relevant qualification at HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters and have chartered status.
- Proven Electrical Associate with a strong track record of working within the UK on a range of mainstream building services projects.
- Experienced team manager, including recruitment, wellbeing, performance, management and development.
- Ability to win work and undertake business operations including marketing, commercial and financial responsibilities.
- Sound knowledge of BIM processes, Revit and IES/Amtech.
