With a hands-on culture and close proximity to its clients, Sogeti is currently looking for an SAP Solution Engineer to join our Quality Engineering and Test Practice, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving impactful value creation for our clients.

Hybrid working :The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

• Develop and execute test scenarios for the Assembly module
• Support the client in developing and implementing test strategies for End-to-End tests and Business Acceptance Tests (BAT) for end users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Participate in project planning and status meetings to provide updates and insights.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP PP/MM modules.
• Based in Manchester, commutable to Broughton, Chester

Essential Skills

Your skills and experience

• Proficiency in SAP, specifically SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP MM (Materials Management)
• In-depth knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes, routings, and bill of materials
• Experience in designing, writing, and executing test cases, including data consistency checks
• Ability to manage defects: identifying, documenting, tracking, and performing root cause analysis
• Strong team collaboration abilities
• Effective communication with clients and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving
• Background in the industrial sector

• Tricentis TOSCA Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2 certifications.
• Knowledge of SAP testing methodologies.
