We are currently seeking a strategic and analytical Pricing Manager to drive revenue growth and optimize customer journeys across a major rail network. In this role, you will lead pricing strategies and product management, ensuring customers have access to the right travel options at the right prices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to grow revenue and customer journeys.
- Manage ticket products, ensuring they align with customer needs across diverse segments (leisure, students, commuters, and business travelers).
- Identify new opportunities for business development, including driving the agenda of fares reform.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including ticket retailing and fulfilment partners.
- Provide analytical insights, preparing and presenting pricing analysis to senior management.
- Lead pricing projects, including the evaluation of fares and ticketing system improvements.
- Support the management of ticketing systems and ensure compliance with pricing policies.
Key Criteria:
- Proven experience in a pricing, commercial, or analytical role, ideally within transportation, travel, or a similar industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and pricing strategy development.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Understanding of fares, ticketing, and revenue management is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.
