The position primarily involves weekday work (with occasional weekends) and offers opportunities for trips into the Peak District, North Wales, and the Lakes.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety First: Champion and enforce strict safety protocols for the centre, ensuring all activities meet or exceed safety standards.
Quality Assurance & Customer Service: Oversee the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring all aspects meet company standards.
Budget & Financial Oversight: Ensure the centre operates within its budget while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Staff Management: Provide direct management to centre managers and onsite team members.
Training & Development: Oversee staff training and activity sign-offs.
Product & Business Growth: Drive initiatives supporting continuous improvement and innovation.
Strategic Recruitment & Collaboration: Work with HR to recruit top talent aligned with centre and business objectives.
Cross-Business Support: Support wider business operations, ensuring consistency in operational excellence.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain necessary accreditations and licenses, aligning with industry standards and policies.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in outdoor centres or outdoor education at a senior level (e.g., Senior Instructor, Deputy Manager/Manager).
- Minimum 5 years of practical outdoor activity delivery experience.
- Qualifications and experience in various outdoor adventure sports.
- Full UK driving license.
- Passion and commitment.
- High-level customer service and professional presentation.

Qualifications:
- RCI, CWI, or other relevant ropes-based qualification.
- ML or HML Award or equivalent.
- Mountain Bike Leader/instructor or equivalent.
- Paddle UK Instructor/Coach or equivalent.
- RYA instructor or equivalent.
- DofE Assessor.
- Archery GB Instructor award.
- Valid First Aid Qualification.
