Software Product Development Manager, Gaming (Manchester)


A Software Product Development Manager, who will lead the product development lifecycle for our online Gaming and Sports content sites.


You will be a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and play a key role in the delivery of product enhancements to the Gaming and Sports content sites. You will be responsible for the production of requirements for product features and enhancements, alongside the prioritisation of the backlog, whilst controlling what is developed and in which order.


Within this role, you will be committed to delivering the best online gambling experience to our customers. As a leader in the industry, we leverage cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience



  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate confidently, effectively and clearly with stakeholders across all levels of the Business.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to analyse information efficiently and make decisions based on that analysis.

  • Managing of multiple tasks concurrently, prioritising as required.

  • Excellent organisational skills.

  • Strong understanding of web-based and mobile technologies, with experience of working with all members of the project life cycle including Analysts, Developers, Testers and Project Managers.

  • Ability to produce strong technical aspects of a product roadmap and overall mobile product strategy.

  • Demonstrate sound product management skills including analytical, business judgement, communication and product discipline, in addition to being technically aware.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues of all levels up to Directors.


Main Responsibilities



  • Producing detailed requirements, outlining the scope of changes to be implemented by the development team.

  • Working closely with product teams in Gibraltar and Malta, ensuring the product roadmap across all products and territories is correct and reflects the needs of the Business.

  • Carrying out research into competitor gambling sites and products, with a strong focus on mobile and app offering.

  • Using our analytics platforms to make educated decisions and using this information to inform product decisions.

  • Working closely with internal teams across development and the wider Business to ensure Business priorities are reflected in the requirements provided to development.

  • Interacting with and helping to maintain the development backlogs from a range of third party suppliers.

  • Prioritising issues within JIRA where appropriate, ensuring product backlogs are regularly reviewed.

  • Reporting on progress made across key projects.
