The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in designing and optimising business, product and services processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse data, and provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and enhance business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders including technical teams, business leaders to identify and document business insight and requirements.
- Design and implement efficient workflows and processes.
- Analyse existing business and product processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., ISO, FCA).
- Collect and analyse data to support decision-making and strategy development.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure solutions align with business strategy and user needs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support business process and product developments across the full lifecycle.
- Ensure all processes and solutions comply with financial regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary adjustments.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback.
- Recommend improvements to enhance the user experience of mobile and web applications.
- Perform market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide insights to support product development, strategic and tactical planning.
- Creating detailed documentation, including business requirements, process diagrams, and user guides.
- Define and maintain documentation library.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Willingness to take on responsibilities and activities required by a growing organisation.
Requirements (Must Haves):
- Bachelor's degree holder, ideally in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a fintech or technology environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in process design and optimisation.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, FCA).
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a startup environment.
- Experience with financial regulations and standard, eg FCA and ISO
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
