Solar PV Technical Design Engineer

Are you a passionate and experienced Solar PV Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled professional to design, specify, and oversee solar PV installations across domestic and commercial projects. What You'll Do:

Full project lifecycle management - from concept to sign-off
Design and specify solar PV systems for roof and ground-mounted installations
Conduct site surveys and assessments for commercial and domestic projects
Utilise PV design software including PVsyst, AutoCAD, and PVSol
Liaise with District Network Operators (DNOs) and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs)
Work with a team of renewable energy experts while also managing projects independently
What We're Looking For:

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR significant PV design experience
4+ years of solar PV design experience in domestic and commercial projects
Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, and PVSol for high quality system design
Knowledge of CHP, gas, and battery storage systems (desirable)
Experience handling DNO applications and grid connection processes
Strong problem solving skills and a passion for renewable energy
