Are you an experienced administrator with a passion for HR? We're looking for a talented HR Administrator to join our team at Manchester Airport, supporting our regional stations and departments across the UK.


About the Role

As an HR Administrator, you'll be a vital part of our regional HR team, providing essential support in all HR activities, including recruitment, payroll administration, and data management. This fast-paced role involves close collaboration with HR colleagues, line managers, and operational teams across five regional sites. Some travel to our Birmingham, Newcastle, and Glasgow stations will be required.


Key Responsibilities


  • Recruitment Support: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings and interview scheduling to onboarding new hires.
  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll processing and administration.
  • HR Projects: Provide administrative support for various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Employee Inquiries: Respond to HR-related questions from employees and managers.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or recruitment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driving license (travel to regional stations required).
  • Successful completion of pre-employment checks, including a 5-year employment/education history and criminal record check, as well as a satisfactory medical report.
