The Vacancy

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will provide expertise in building data technology and modern data platform solutions in Azure. You will play a crucial role in developing complex data solutions, supporting our Data Architects, Presales Architects, and Cloud Engineers, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Design and build complex data solutions leveraging Azure data services.
• 
  Support and collaborate with Data Architects, Presales Architects, and Cloud Engineers to deliver top-notch solutions.
• 
  Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• 
  Conduct R&D to stay ahead of industry trends and integrate new technologies.
• 
  Develop and enforce best practices in data engineering and platform development.

What We Need From You:

• Substantial experience in data engineering and Azure data services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience working with a variety of customers.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering practices and processes.
• Expertise in developing data pipelines, working with APIs, multiple file formats, and databases.

Specific Technologies and Disciplines:

• Fabric
• Synapse
• ADLS2
• Databricks
• Azure Data Factory (including metadata-driven pipelines)
• Azure SQL
• Keyvault
• Azure Security (e.g., use of private endpoints)
• CI/CD, especially within Azure DevOps
• Agile delivery
