The Vacancy
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will provide expertise in building data technology and modern data platform solutions in Azure. You will play a crucial role in developing complex data solutions, supporting our Data Architects, Presales Architects, and Cloud Engineers, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build complex data solutions leveraging Azure data services.
Support and collaborate with Data Architects, Presales Architects, and Cloud Engineers to deliver top-notch solutions.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Conduct R&D to stay ahead of industry trends and integrate new technologies.
Develop and enforce best practices in data engineering and platform development.
What We Need From You:
- Substantial experience in data engineering and Azure data services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience working with a variety of customers.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering practices and processes.
- Expertise in developing data pipelines, working with APIs, multiple file formats, and databases.
Specific Technologies and Disciplines:
- Fabric
- Synapse
- ADLS2
- Databricks
- Azure Data Factory (including metadata-driven pipelines)
- Azure SQL
- Keyvault
- Azure Security (e.g., use of private endpoints)
- CI/CD, especially within Azure DevOps
- Agile delivery
