Role description:
To increase the profile of the UK and Ireland business externally, growing Arcadis’ brand and reputation in the UK & Ireland market. This role requires a strategic thinker who is commercially aware and can produce multi-faceted and integrated marketing campaigns, identify opportunities to build and grow our brand position, and demonstrate clear, measurable ROI.
Reports directly to the UK&I Marketing & Communications Director and has 1-2 marketing line reports. The role has a dotted line with the Marketing Center of Excellence.

Role description:

Role accountabilities:
- The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing a sector-based marketing strategy (aligned with the global strategy) to grow Arcadis’ share of wallet with key clients, and to boost brand profile across the UK and Ireland.
- Supporting specific, in-country client growth plans, this role will champion account-based marketing and specific sector-based initiatives, working with ABM and sector teams to develop impactful marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and client engagement.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts, this role will oversee the creation of high-quality and engaging regional insights and thought leadership content to support regional commercial and pipeline priorities, and position Arcadis as experts in priority sectors.
- Acting as a custodian of the Brand, this role will take the lead on localising global brand and cross-sector initiatives, tailoring these for the UK & I market and ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
- Working in partnership with the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence, this role will develop buyer personas, journey maps, and customer-centric content strategies for customer-preferred channels.
- Influencing and partnering with stakeholders will be critical for success, and this role will work closely with local Sector, Cabinet and Sales leads; UK & I Marketing and Communications colleagues working in communications and events; as well as global Center of Excellence teams for (sector) Marketing, ABM, Brand, Communications, Digital and Events.
- Data-driven decision-making – this role will regularly monitor, analyse, and report on channel and program performance vs. an established set of KPIs, using insights to inform recommendations and decisions.
- Managing the UK & I Marketing budget, working with Operations and Finance, and reporting regularly on spending and forecasts.
- Continuous improvement – Identify and implement opportunities to optimise and streamline Arcadis systems, processes, and tools.
- 10 years of marketing experience
- Marketing qualification/certification
- B2B experience and an understanding of the industry or related industry highly desired
- A true marketeer driven by results, and strong skills in developing campaigns to reach target audiences, creative approaches to solve complex problems.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in digital marketing strategy, tools, and social media channels.
- Client-focused and outside-in approach
- Strong focus on data and audience insights
- Managerial experience and strong leadership skills
- A natural collaborator and excellent communicator used to working in a high-energy setting
- Strong networking skills and experience growing and developing solid working relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and unexpected challenges.
