Job Title: Digital Producer / Manager
Length of contract: 2 months initially
About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly skilled and creative Digital Producer/Socials Manager with a proven track record of generating and executing engaging, platform-appropriate content—particularly for YouTube and other key digital channels. This is a pivotal role for a digital native who not only understands how to create standout content but also lives and breathes the ever-evolving digital landscape.
As a key part of our content team, you will be responsible for developing original, entertaining ideas and delivering high-quality productions from concept to upload. You’ll have a strong editorial instinct, technical know-how, and a deep understanding of what works across different platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and emerging formats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce innovative, audience-first digital content tailored to multiple platforms (with a focus on YouTube).
- Generate and pitch ideas that align with brand and audience strategies, while also responding to platform trends and insights.
- Manage projects end-to-end — from ideation, scripting, and production through to post-production and publishing.
- Shoot and edit video content to a high standard, ensuring consistency in quality and tone.
- Collaborate with talent, creators, and internal stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key platform representatives (e.g., YouTube, Meta, TikTok) and stay updated on algorithm changes, feature rollouts, and monetization opportunities.
- Analyse performance data and audience insights to iterate and optimize content strategies.
- Ensure content delivery adheres to platform best practices and technical specifications.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in digital content production, particularly for YouTube and social-first environments.
- Strong creative and editorial skills with a portfolio that demonstrates originality and storytelling across formats.
- Proficient in shooting and editing, ideally with hands-on experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
- Deep understanding of platform algorithms, formats, and audience behaviour across digital and social platforms.
- Experience managing production schedules, budgets, and creative teams.
- Strong communicator with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.
- Passionate, proactive, and adaptable — with a constant eye on what’s next in digital.
Desirable:
- Existing relationships with platform reps (YouTube, TikTok, Meta, etc.).
- Experience in audience development or channel growth strategy.
- Background in entertainment, youth media, or branded content.
