Python Engineer - Manchester - £60,000 - £75,000 + bens

Are you an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a passion for Python, machine learning, and automation? This opportunity is for you. My client, a fast-growing company in the tech space, is looking for a skilled engineer to join their team and work on innovative AI/ML projects, with a focus on backend development and cloud deployment.

Key Experience:

• Develop Python code for backend logic, automation, and machine learning model integration.


• Design and maintain robust APIs, optimising data pipelines for ML tasks.


• Collaborate on the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerisation, and cloud deployment.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Python backend engineering.


• Expertise in unit testing with PyTest.


• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.


• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).


• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for optimising performance.

Desirable:

• Experience of working with retail / e-commerce technologies
