Electrical Design Engineer - #1692033

Elsdon Group are working with a leading European contractor. Who have a strong track record of delivering HV/MV projects and data centres. They are currently looking to add an Electrical Design Engineer to the team in Manchester. This role is remote, but you will be required to meet customers and contractors on site. This could be anywhere in the UK.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project team with project documentation and control, job costing, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site management to ensure project success


• Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines


• Working with HV specialist contractors to deliver the project


• Scoping HV and MV electrical works


• Cable design and calculation


• Assisting sales team to deliver bids/tenders

Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Engineering or equivalent experience


• Must have solid experience in delivering HV projects


• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
