Test Analyst // Hybrid Working (Central Manchester) // £35,000 - £40,000 + 15% Bonus
Xpertise Recruitment have partnered with a global technology company to hire a Test Analyst who will work closely with software engineers, embedded in a new delivery stream. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in manual functional testing and a passion for delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software across multiple projects. You’ll work closely with development teams to conduct manual functional testing. Your ability to adapt to fast-paced timelines and juggle multiple tasks will be key to your success in this role. The role is hybrid, with the expectation candidate work onsite 2x per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual functional testing to ensure software meets business requirements and specifications.
- Use BDD (SpecFlow or similar) to ensure efficient, effective testing for new features.
- Conduct API testing to ensure integrations are functional and meet expected outcomes.
- Ability to read and understand highly technical documentation
- Support and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s testing processes.
- Effectively manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Report defects accurately and work with the development team to ensure their timely resolution.
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience in BDD with SpecFlow or a similar framework.
- Strong manual functional testing experience, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
API testing experience, including the ability to test and validate API endpoints.- Experience working with technical documentation and defining test scopes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
