Contract Electronics Design Engineer – Remote / North UK – £55-65p/h Outside IR35
Location: Fully Remote (must be UK-based), occasional site visits in Leeds or ManchesterRate: £55-65 per hour (Outside IR35)Duration: 6-12 monthsIR35 Status: Outside IR35
We're working with an electronics engineering company that delivers cutting-edge solutions across industrial automation, smart infrastructure, and advanced sensor technologies. Due to a surge in new projects, they're looking to engage a Contract Electronics Design Engineer with a strong foundation in both analogue and digital design.
This is a fully remote role with occasional visits to sites in Leeds or Manchester.
Key Skills Required:
- PCB Design & Schematic Capture (Altium, Pads, or similar)
- Analogue & Digital Circuit Design
- Low-power / low-noise circuit design
- EMC compliance and testing (desirable)
- Embedded C/C++ knowledge (desirable)
- Experience in industrial, medical, or instrumentation environments preferred
Nice to Have:
- Functional safety experience (ISO 13849, IEC 61508)
- Experience designing for harsh or high-vibration environments
