Were partnering with a UK-based engineering manufacturer with a reputation built on innovation, technical excellence, and a track record spanning decades. This company has become a recognised name in multiple disciplines with growth to come from engineering-heavy sectors including Automotive to Marine, Nuclear to Defence, and Power Generation. Now, as they enter an exciting new growth phase, theyre looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead their push into these core markets.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Identifying and engaging new business opportunities across your local UK territory
  • Driving revenue across sectors such as automotive, nuclear, defence, marine, and power generation
  • Attending site visits, customer meetings, and industry events to build strong face-to-face relationships
  • Working closely with internal engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to client needs
  • Taking full ownership of the sales cyclefrom initial contact to deal close

What Youll Need

  • Proven experience in B2B salesideally from an industrial, engineering, or technical product environment
  • A hunger to break into new accounts and open doors with key decision-makers
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to sell on value, not just price
  • Excellent communication skills and the credibility to engage with engineers, project leads, and procurement teams
  • A self-starting attitudethis role offers freedom and autonomy, so youll need to thrive on it
