Your Crucial Role: As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be at the heart of delivering an exceptional fostering service. You'll manage your own caseload while taking a lead in shaping the lives of children by:
- Finding and empowering amazing foster carers: You'll be responsible for the recruitment, thorough assessment, comprehensive training, and ongoing support of individuals and families who open their hearts and homes to children in need.
- Championing safeguarding: You will implement and rigorously monitor safeguarding practices, ensuring the paramount welfare of every child in our care and upholding all statutory requirements.
- Being a pillar of support and knowledge: You'll provide vital training and continuous support to foster carers, equipping them with the skills and understanding to meet the diverse needs of the children they care for.
- Ensuring excellence in case management: You will maintain meticulous and current case records, guaranteeing full compliance with all relevant regulations and agency policies.
- Collaborating for positive change: You'll work seamlessly with a network of professionals, including fellow social workers, education specialists, and healthcare providers, all striving towards the best possible outcomes for the children.
What You'll Bring:
- A Social Work qualification (BA or MA).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Solid experience within fostering or child protection.
