You’ll be leading small residential and supported living services for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism, some of whom may present behaviours that challenge. You’ll play a vital part in shaping day-to-day care delivery and in empowering your team to make every day count.

  • 12-hour shift pattern with weekend availability

  • Opportunities for career progression

  • Company pension

  • Staff mentoring & development programme

  • Casual dress and regular team events

  • Staff referral scheme

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of your service to ensure a safe, effective and person-centred environment

  • Lead, mentor and support a team of care staff, including supervision, appraisals, and training

  • Deliver hands-on care and lead by example, stepping in as needed during busy or challenging times

  • Write, review and implement person-centred care plans

  • Promote engagement and social inclusion through meaningful daily activities

  • Oversee record-keeping and ensure regulatory and internal compliance

  • Represent the service in multidisciplinary meetings and advocate for individuals you support

  • Take part in service audits and drive continuous quality improvement

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a care setting (Supported Living, Residential, or Domiciliary)

  • Minimum 1 year in a senior or leadership capacity

  • Experience working within a PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) model is highly desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
