You’ll be leading small residential and supported living services for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism, some of whom may present behaviours that challenge. You’ll play a vital part in shaping day-to-day care delivery and in empowering your team to make every day count.

Responsibilities
-
Manage the daily operations of your service to ensure a safe, effective and person-centred environment
-
Lead, mentor and support a team of care staff, including supervision, appraisals, and training
-
Deliver hands-on care and lead by example, stepping in as needed during busy or challenging times
-
Write, review and implement person-centred care plans
-
Promote engagement and social inclusion through meaningful daily activities
-
Oversee record-keeping and ensure regulatory and internal compliance
-
Represent the service in multidisciplinary meetings and advocate for individuals you support
-
Take part in service audits and drive continuous quality improvement
Requirements
-
At least 2 years’ experience in a care setting (Supported Living, Residential, or Domiciliary)
-
Minimum 1 year in a senior or leadership capacity
-
Experience working within a PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) model is highly desirable
-
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)

Strong communication and leadership skills
-
Calm under pressure, flexible, and proactive in your approach

Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Willingness to work across various services in Manchester and Rochdale
