Overview:

  • A highly ambitious and highly driven Account Manager / Business Development Manager is required to join a highly successful team within this well-established, privately owned finance company with offices near Oxford and Manchester.
  • This position is available UK wide.

About this Role:

  • This is a new business and account management role working within a well-established and reputable equipment leasing and commercial loan company; the Account Manager role is selling a range of finance packages to B2B equipment distributors to provide point of sale finance.
  • You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships by phone and through meetings, identifying their own and their customers’ requirements and providing financial solutions to help the equipment sale.
  • You will retain accounts won and will be supported by an experienced sales support team who will work with you to help you achieve your targets, maintain your accounts and allow you to continue to find new opportunities.
  • Our Head Office is based in the North West and we have a Southern Regional Sales Office in Oxfordshire.

Requirements:

  • Ideally, you will already have a number of years’ experience working in financial services in a B2B capacity.
  • Your major strengths will be to create strong business relationships with equipment suppliers, to build trust and confidence to deal with their customers financial needs in a professional manner and have the experience to provide financial solutions.
  • You will require a professional but tenacious attitude with a strong desire to achieve.
  • This is a home-based role and you will be expected to travel regularly to meetings.

Package:

  • Your package will include a competitive and generous basic salary to reflect the challenges and skills required in the role, and a highly attractive commission structure which is uncapped and tiered to reflect greater success.
  • The support the business provides allows successful sales people to earn OTE of circa £100k.

The Business:

  • This is a privately-owned business and the directors take a very active role and are interested in people development and rewarding people who add value.
  • With uncapped and escalating commission structures earnings can be considerable and established sales people can earn circa £100k.
  • In addition to your line manager you will engage regularly with senior management.
  • The business is focused on growth, it has recently invested in a new IT system and has also increased headcount in underwriting, sales support and other areas.
