Elevate Supply are supporting a friendly, Ofsted-rated 'Good' primary school in Manchester, in their search for a Year 3 Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for a qualified teacher who is committed to helping pupils achieve their best through high-quality, engaging lessons.

About The Role

You will be responsible for delivering the Year 3 curriculum, ensuring that pupils are challenged, supported, and making strong progress. The school offers a supportive senior leadership team, excellent resources, and a welcoming environment where teachers are valued and encouraged to develop.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
• Maintain a positive and well-structured classroom environment
• Track and monitor pupil progress, identifying and addressing gaps in learning
• Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support all learners
• Engage with parents and carers to support children's development
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities if possible
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in lower Key Stage 2 (desirable)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum
• A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning
