We have over 175 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting an experienced civil engineer to join our team, to work on critical infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland. This position will be based from either our Glasgow or Stockport locations, with some travel.
We are looking for:
- a good degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
- a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional engineer wanting a challenging career in the development and construction of major projects;
- recent project management experience gained with the development and/or construction of industrial heavy civils projects such as dams, other buried structures, hydro projects, caverns, tunnels, shafts etc.
- experience with UK, European and international engineering standards and standard forms of contract;
- able to chair project meetings, produce reports and technical models/drawings and liaise effectively with our clients;
- ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
- professional chartered membership of an applicable industry body;
- fully conversant with Microsoft Office;
- full right to work in the UK;
- knowledge of UK Health and Safety Regulations; and
- a full driving licence for travel to sites/meetings.
