In this role, leveraging data analytics is key to identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies that enhance risk assessments, control evaluations, and audit decision-making. By utilising comprehensive data analysis, the role aims to provide full coverage of entire data populations, eliminating the limitations of sample testing.
This approach will also support continuous auditing and monitoring, enabling real-time data collection to proactively flag issues and mitigate potential risks.

This approach will also support continuous auditing and monitoring, enabling real-time data collection to proactively flag issues and mitigate potential risks.
What You Will Do
Use data analytics
- to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support risk assessment, control evaluation, and audit decision-making.
- to provide full coverage for an entire population, eliminating drawbacks of sample testing;
- to initiate continuous auditing and monitoring, and gather real-time data to flag issues and mitigate risks
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports providing actionable insights to facilitate decision-making and enhance governance. Agree audit recommendations with stakeholders
- Professional Excel, basic knowledge of SQL, any scripting language
- Business-process analyst, process improvement analyst, business change analyst
- Experience with auditing technology controls (ITGC, applications, infrastructure) and an understanding of emerging technology (e.g., Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)
- Experience in internal or external audit, or a closely related field like risk management, finance, or compliance
- Bachelor's degree (or related financial experience) in Technology, Math, Finance, or related discipline
