If you are an experienced teacher looking for rewarding work in an SEN school, Prospero Teaching is recruiting for class teachers to work with an organization that provides both residential and educational support to young people with complex learning and medical needs. This role is full-time and involves personal support for children and young adults, creating an environment where the students can achieve their full potential and have fun.

Location – Gorton
Position – SEND Teacher
Start date – ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration – Long term, ongoing
Full time/part-time – Full Time
Minimum rate of pay – Pay to scale M1 – M6
Hours – 08:30 – 15:30
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience of working with students with SEND, PMLD, Autism, or ADHD – Preferred
- Experience working within a school or similar setting
- QTS, PGCE, or equivalent qualification
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
