About the Role

The Junior Salesforce Developer will work as part of a four-person Salesforce team within a broader IT department of 23 colleagues. The role supports the development, configuration, and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, contributing to ongoing system improvements that benefit internal teams across sales, marketing, and customer support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and refining Salesforce features and tools under the guidance of experienced developers.

  • Help configure the platform using tools like flows, validation rules, and custom objects.

  • Support development efforts using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce when needed.

  • Work on system integrations via APIs with assistance from the team.

  • Conduct testing and help maintain accurate documentation.

  • Troubleshoot issues, suggest improvements, and contribute to solution development.


Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, gained through work, personal projects, or coursework.

  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer I certification (or currently working toward one).

  • Understanding of Salesforce configuration tools such as Flow and Process Builder.

  • Interest in system development and digital tools.
