The Company is a leading supplier of innovative packaging solutions, offering the largest range of quality packaging and office supplies. The company are now looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team.

Job Purpose Of The Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager will build face to face relationships with our largest customers, ensuring that they build partnering relationships that support them to identify efficiencies and gains within their packaging and workplace requirements.

They will manage their own accounts and support the wider regional team by conducting face-to-face visits when it is identified that this would unlock further growth and potential.

The Key Account Manager will manage around 80 90 accounts, managing a ledger worth approximately £2.2m for their region. Balanced with managing site visits to key customers, they will seek the support of the Internal Account Managers assigned to their region to ensure that they are focused on proactive growth within their existing customer base and identifying new customer leads within their region.

Key Responsibilities Of The Key Account Manager

Accountable for ensuring all communication is honest, open and respectful and has the customer at the center of decision making.

Customer To defend and grow our market share on the ground through value adding face to face visits and ensuring our Customer Value Proposition is clearly articulated to the customer and aligned to their needs.

Do The Right Thing To support the wider Business Development and External Sales Teams they believe a face-to-face visit would add value.

Be Accountable To visit customers acting as an ambassador of our brand and building relationships built on our point of difference and core values.

Be The Best To provide each customer with the tailored support they need to identify and realise their packaging needs, including identifying opportunities for them to work more efficiently and reduce their costs and meet their environmental agenda.

Succeed Together Demonstrate unconditional teamwork towards the wider Internal and External team, this includes sharing best practice and being open, honest and respectful in providing constructive feedback to the wider members of the team.

Responsible for building relationships with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Finance and Product and Purchasing teams, that ensure a customers expectations can be met and are managed effectively.

Accountable for driving personal development and responsible for building relationships with other sales team members that enable all members of the team to reach their full potential.

Accountable for delivering regular (at least every 6 months) customer-facing account reviews.

Salary

Depending on experience (basic salary, commission, car allowance)
