In House Private Client Solicitor - #1657145

Our client is seeking a seasoned In House Private Client Solicitor to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly reputable organisation, providing legal support and advice to a trust corporation that acts as a professional trustee for over 1,500 trusts and executor of over 50,000 Wills. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a broad range of external private clients requiring lifetime tax planning and structuring, Wills, LPAs, Deeds of Variations and other private client services.

What You'll Do

• Provide legal advice and drafting support to the trust corporation in its role as a professional fiduciary
• Support colleagues involved in estate administration through provision of legal advice and drafting
• Assist in matters where private client advice and drafting are provided to external clients
• Ensure delivery on commitments to agreed deadlines and high standards for specific trust cases
• Drafting documents including Wills, LPAs, lifetime trusts, Deeds of Variation, Deeds of Trust and Gift
• Answer technical queries from colleagues in the estate administration team
  
  

What You Bring

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE working for a renowned trust and private client law or fiduciary firm
• Experience advising private clients, trustees, settlors and beneficiaries in relation to trust and other fiduciary structures
• Knowledge of the legal and tax regime in which these structures operate
• Experience in will writing, estate administration, lasting and enduring powers of attorney and mental capacity issues
• Ability to deliver work and advice in a commercial context
