Construction Project Manager (Civils) Salary: £65,000 (includes Car) + Travel Costs Location: Manchester & Leeds/Doncaster, with travel across both areas Role Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering to oversee a portfolio of high-quality projects across Manchester and Yorkshire. This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in managing multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget, all while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Act as a key partner for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure all work aligns with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Effectively manage project budgets and costs to ensure profitability.
  • Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to expand project pipelines and achieve business growth targets.
Candidate Requirements
  • Strong background in civil engineering with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • NEC experience (ideally Level 4) is required.
  • HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and client engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage costs, budgets, and subcontractor performance.
  • Possession of SMSTS / CSCS Black Card / First Aid certification is essential.
  • A full UK Driver’s License
