We are looking for an experienced Account Handler to join a leading global brokerage’s Corporate Insurance team in Manchester. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work both virtually and from the office.

As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of large mid-market commercial clients. You will work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored risk solutions and provide exceptional service. You’ll support the team in driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships!

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring their business and insurance needs are met.
• Collaborate with the client management team to develop service plans and attend client meetings.
• Negotiate renewal terms, mid-term adjustments, and cover extensions, working with insurers to secure the best solutions.
• Prepare marketing presentations and renewal reports, ensuring comprehensive cover comparisons.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurers, presenting tailored coverage options.
• Ensure ongoing communication with clients, addressing any queries or changes.
• Handle administrative duties such as issuing documentation and ensuring premiums are debited and allocated correctly.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in the insurance industry, particularly with commercial risks (Property/BI, Casualty, Motor Fleet, Management Liability, Cyber).
• Strong understanding of global insurance placements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A client-focused, consultative approach to service.
