Interim Transport Safety Business Partner - ManchesterDay rate: ~ £400 (Outside IR35)Duration: 3-6 monthsOn-site role: 5 days a week

Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by a leader in the Transport Industry who are looking to recruit an Interim Transport Safety Business Partner. This position plays a crucial role in the organisations efforts to control and reduce collisions, incidents, and near misses.

This role promotes a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across the organisation whilst contributing to upholding the highest standards of workplace transport safety.

Responsibilities of the Interim Transport Safety Business Partner will include:

• Act as the competent advice in matters of Transport Safety to support compliance and achieve positive culture
• Visiting sites to conduct audits and inspections, and answer any health, safety, and environmental related queries
• Ensuring policies and procedures are reviewed and updated, completing accident investigations as required
• Handle all matters related to Health and Safety and Transport Safety initiatives promptly, professionally, and in a manner that best serves the interests of the organisation

The successful Interim Transport Safety Business Partner will have:

• Proven health, safety and environmental experience within transport, heavy industrial environments, logistics or facilities management industries
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential) and relevant membership of IOSH
• Class 2 license
• Proven experience implementing ISO-Management Systems
