JOB Project Manager Engineering / Manufacturing
LOCATION Cornwall
TERM- Permanent
SALARY - £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in Manufacturing on a permanent basis in the Cornwall area with experience in the engineering / manufacturing industry. This could also be well suited for anyone with experience in the Energy, Nuclear or Renewables (Solar, Wind, Tibal) sectors.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

• Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience

• Previous experience working in a similar Project Engineering or Project Management role within Engineering or Manufacturing.

• Any relevant experience overseeing NPI, installation or similar projects.

• Able to communicate with designers and subcontractors for technical specifications.

• Familiar with cradle to grave project management.


• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.


• Have previous experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.


• Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude


• Good problem-solving skills


• Any experience with Energy, Renewables or High Voltage electricity very advantageous.

The Project Engineering Manager role will involve:

• Developing and evolving new projects for the business.


• Overseeing projects from initial requirement through design and installation.


• Liaising with other departments of to ensure projects are on time and in budget.


• Manage some maintenance projects where required.


• Some travel may be required.
